Spot Repair

Not every scratch or chip requires a full-panel respray. Spot repair — sometimes called smart repair or SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Technology) — targets only the damaged area, blending seamlessly into the surrounding paintwork. This means less material, less labour and a significantly lower cost, while still delivering a factory-quality result.

Common candidates for spot repair include stone chips on the bonnet or front bumper, key scratches on doors, scuffs from tight parking and minor lacquer peeling. If the damaged area can be covered by an A4 sheet of paper, it is almost certainly repairable with this technique — saving you the expense of painting an entire panel from edge to edge.

We colour-match using the vehicle's OEM code and verify the formula with a spray-out card before application. The repair area is feathered, primed and sprayed with basecoat and clear coat, then blended into the adjacent paint using a graduated fade-out technique. Once polished, the transition is completely undetectable to the naked eye.

Spot repairs are typically completed within a few hours, allowing same-day collection in many cases. It's a practical, economical solution that maintains your vehicle's appearance and protects exposed metal from corrosion — without the downtime or expense of conventional bodywork.
