Full Respray

A full respray is the most comprehensive paint service we offer. Whether you're restoring a neglected classic, correcting years of sun damage and faded clear coat, or simply want a complete colour change, this service strips the vehicle back to bare metal or sound substrate and rebuilds the entire paint system from the ground up.

The process begins with the removal of all exterior trim, lighting, glass, badges and door handles — every component that would otherwise create a mask line or prevent paint from reaching hidden edges. This level of disassembly is what separates a premium respray from a quick blow-over, and it's essential for achieving uniform colour coverage in door shuts, under-bonnet areas and boot apertures.

With the shell fully stripped, we address any rust, stone chips or surface imperfections before applying a corrosion-inhibiting etch primer followed by a high-build surfacer. The surfacer is block-sanded to a perfectly level plane, providing the ideal canvas for colour. The basecoat and clear coat are then applied in our downdraft spray booth and oven-baked for a hard, durable finish that outperforms air-dried refinish systems.

After curing, every component is carefully refitted — with fresh seals and clips where needed — and the vehicle receives a final cut-and-polish to remove any dust nibs. The end result is indistinguishable from a brand-new car rolling off the production line: flawless colour, uniform gloss, crisp shut lines and zero overspray.
